If your Max displaying a message that says 'Update Failed. Resync firmware.' , you'll need to perform the following steps: 1. Remove the battery door from the device. You can do this by inserting a coin into the slot on the battery door and turning counter-clockwise. GoZone iSync is a software program developed by Virgin HealthMiles. The most common release is 2.0.0, with over 98% of all installations currently using this version. You are not logged in or your session has expired. Please use the login page to log in again using your credentials. The white triangle icon on the battery door will align with the white unlocked padlock on the device. Turn the device over to make the battery door fall off. Remove the battery from the Max device. Plug in your Max device (without the battery) using the micro-USB cable that came with your Max packaging to a PC or Mac that is running Virgin Pulse Sync software. The small end of the cable fits into the bottom of the Max device, and the large end needs to be correctly inserted into a USB port on the machine. Please make sure the cord is pushed in all the way to both the device and the USB port on the computer. ( Note:* To determine if you have the Sync software running, please check if you can see the blue Virgin Pulse icon on the system taskbar.) PC (located in the lower right corner of your screen): Mac (located in the upper right corner of your screen). Once you plug in the Max device, the Sync software should launch, and a pop-up will display on the computer screen. If the device requires a firmware update, the Sync software will automatically apply the necessary updates. DO NOT UNPLUG your Max device. Please wait for the firmware update to complete (you will be alerted on the computer screen). Once the update is complete, a sync process will occur - do not unplug. Once the firmware update and sync complete, it may take up to 1 minute for the device to apply the new firmware and restart. At this point, the Max device should show the 'Steps' screen.
